The latest update is out from Infratil Limited ( (IFUUF) ).
Infratil has reinforced its data centre growth strategy by backing CDC’s rapid capacity expansion, including a recent A$500 million equity injection alongside other major shareholders to accelerate construction across its Australasian campuses. At CDC’s Eastern Creek site near Sydney, two new facilities are nearing completion, part of a portfolio that added almost 200 megawatts of operating capacity in the December quarter and now includes the region’s largest development pipeline.
The company has upgraded CDC’s FY27 EBITDAF guidance to A$680 million to A$720 million, up from an earlier expectation of about A$660 million, citing stronger contracted capacity delivery and persistent demand, while flagging that FY26 earnings will land at the lower end of its A$390 million to A$400 million range due to timing. CDC’s chief executive highlighted Australasia’s growing appeal as a secure hub for large-scale AI and “intelligence generation,” underpinned by geopolitical factors and resource-efficient technologies such as its closed-loop water cooling system, which help position the platform competitively for global hyperscale and strategic customers.
