Informa PLC has announced that Mary McDowell, currently the Senior Independent Director, is set to become the Chair of the newly formed New TechTarget, leading to her expected departure from Informa’s Board. The formation of New TechTarget, a merger of Informa Tech’s Digital Businesses with NASDAQ-listed TechTarget Inc., is anticipated to be completed in the last quarter of 2024. Upon completion of the merger, Louise Smalley will take over as Senior Independent Director for Informa PLC.
