Infini Resources Ltd. ( (AU:I88) ) has provided an update.
Infini Resources has reported the first laboratory assays from its Phase 2 diamond drilling at the Portland Creek Uranium Project, confirming anomalous uranium mineralisation in five adjacent holes over more than 2 km of strike and up to 300 m downhole. The uranium is closely associated with fractures, breccias and brittle deformation within sheared granite, supporting the company’s model of a structurally controlled, shear-hosted hydrothermal system.
The assays also show polymetallic signatures, with uranium occurring alongside molybdenum, zinc and copper, reinforcing the presence of a fertile hydrothermal system at Portland Creek. These results, together with very high historical uranium-in-soil anomalies and upcoming airborne EM, magnetic and radiometric data, underpin an expanded and more focused exploration and drilling campaign planned for 2026, reducing geological uncertainty and potentially enhancing the project’s long‑term development prospects.
