Income & Growth VCT plc Class S has announced a strategic merger proposal to consolidate its four companies into two, aiming to enhance efficiency and achieve cost savings. The merger, subject to shareholder approval, is expected to result in significant annual cost reductions and a payback period of less than 18 months for the one-time merger costs. Additionally, the companies plan to offer subscriptions post-merger to raise further funds, updating their investment advisory arrangements with Gresham House in the process.
