Inchcape plc has announced the buyback of 170,868 ordinary shares on September 9, 2024, as part of its ongoing share buyback program initiated on August 1, 2024. The company has confirmed that these shares, purchased through Jefferies International Limited, will be cancelled rather than held in treasury, further reducing the total number of shares in issue to 408,511,222. This move follows the company’s purchase of 4,495,910 shares at a cost of over £37 million since the program’s start.
