Imugene ( (AU:IMU) ) has issued an update.
Imugene has reported promising Phase 1b data for azer-cel, its allogeneic CD19 CAR T-cell therapy, in a CAR T-naïve cohort of patients with relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The ASCO 2026 abstract shows clinical activity across multiple CD19 B-cell malignancies, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, marginal zone lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, primary central nervous system lymphoma, follicular lymphoma and Waldenström macroglobulinemia.
Among 16 evaluable patients treated with azer-cel plus low-dose IL-2, the overall response rate reached 81%, with 100% response rates in several lymphoma and leukemia subtypes and a manageable safety profile. Management said the results validate Imugene’s off-the-shelf CAR T strategy and will guide future indication selection, while the upcoming ASCO oral presentation is expected to raise the company’s profile with oncologists, potential pharma partners and global investors.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:IMU) stock is a Buy with a A$0.25 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Imugene stock, see the AU:IMU Stock Forecast page.
