IMCD Italy, a subsidiary of the global distributor IMCD N.V., is set to enhance its position in the Italian pharmaceutical market through the acquisition of Selechimica, a Milan-based distributor of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). Selechimica, which reported revenues of EUR 5 million in the last financial year, is expected to see expanded product offerings and customer reach with IMCD’s resources and industry expertise. The deal is anticipated to close by the end of June 2024, pending customary conditions.
