The latest update is out from IGO ( (AU:IGO) ).

IGO Limited has completed the sale of its Forrestania Nickel Operations assets in Western Australia to Medallion Metals, transferring the Cosmic Boy processing plant, associated infrastructure, inventories and rehabilitation obligations for no cash consideration, while retaining certain mineral rights. Under the deal, IGO keeps the rights to explore, develop and mine nickel and lithium at Forrestania with Medallion providing access and support, and will receive up to a 1.5% net smelter return royalty on any future gold production from the tenements.

The transaction advances IGO’s strategy to cut ongoing costs and unlock value from non-core assets while preserving upside in key battery minerals. Following completion, the company is assessing options to rationalise other holdings, including the Cosmos site and infrastructure, noting the region’s prospectivity for gold and other minerals and the presence of plant and equipment suitable for mining and processing additional commodities, which may further reshape its portfolio and capital allocation.

The most recent analyst rating on (AU:IGO) stock is a Hold with a A$8.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on IGO stock, see the AU:IGO Stock Forecast page.
