Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the purchase of 6,839,920 shares of Fuji Oil Company, increasing its ownership to 21.79% and making Fuji Oil an equity method affiliate. The acquisition, which follows a previously announced agreement and the green light from the Fair Trade Commission, is not expected to significantly impact Idemitsu’s financial performance.
