Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. has announced the acquisition of 11,570,900 of its own common shares for a total purchase price of 11,130,095,170 yen, executed between August 1 and August 30, 2024. This buyback forms part of a larger board-approved plan to acquire up to 90 million shares for a maximum of 70 billion yen by March 2025. As of August 30, 2024, the company has cumulatively bought back 13,491,700 shares totaling 13,024,126,980 yen.
