ICON plc, a prominent healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization, has appointed Nigel Clerkin as its new Chief Financial Officer. Clerkin’s rich background includes leadership roles at several life sciences and healthcare companies, bringing a wealth of experience in financial growth and mergers and acquisitions. He is set to join ICON’s Dublin office in the fourth quarter, succeeding the outgoing CFO, Brendan Brennan, who served the company for 18 years.
