IB Acquisition Corp. ( (IBAC) ) has provided an update.
IB Acquisition Corp. held a special meeting on September 22, 2025, where stockholders approved amendments to extend the deadline for completing a business combination to March 28, 2026. The amendments also outline procedures for redemption and liquidation if the company fails to complete the business combination by the new deadline. Approximately 90.96% of the company’s common stock was represented at the meeting, and stockholders approved all proposals, including the extension and trust amendments. As a result, $106.1 million will be removed from the Trust Account to pay stockholders who opted to redeem their shares, leaving approximately $15.8 million in the account.
