Hycroft Mining Holding ( (HYMC) ) has issued an update.
On March 16, 2026, Hycroft Mining reported additional high-grade silver drill results from its 2025-2026 exploration program at the Hycroft Mine’s Brimstone area in Nevada. The latest holes confirmed that the Brimstone silver system extends roughly 150 meters deeper than previously known, remains open at depth and laterally, and delivered standout intercepts including 542.78 g/t silver over 35.5 meters and 358.15 g/t silver over 11.2 meters.
Step-out drilling expanded the known footprint of high-grade mineralization and validated the company’s structural model, with multiple holes intersecting strong mineralized fluid pathways and stockwork veining characteristic of the Brimstone system. Management highlighted that these results strengthen the geological continuity of the high-grade zone and support ongoing drilling aimed at defining the deeper feeder and lateral extents, which could materially enhance the resource potential and strategic value of the Hycroft Mine for stakeholders.
In 2025 Hycroft completed 11 drill holes, seven at Brimstone and four at Vortex, with most assays received, and by early 2026 had finished six additional core holes, four at Brimstone and two at Vortex, with results pending. The company currently has one core rig operating at Brimstone and one at Vortex, underlining an active exploration campaign focused on scaling and refining the high-grade silver systems within its Nevada asset base.
The most recent analyst rating on (HYMC) stock is a Buy with a $42.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Hycroft Mining Holding stock, see the HYMC Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on HYMC Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, HYMC is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (no recent revenue, ongoing losses, and persistent cash burn). This is partially offset by strong technical momentum (price well above moving averages with positive MACD) and positive corporate developments around resource growth and drilling results; valuation support is limited due to negative earnings and no dividend.
