Hummingbird Resources is optimistic about the recent developments at the Dugbe Gold Project, where its affiliate Pasofino Gold has completed a promising diamond core drilling program. The drilling at Bukon Jedeh ‘gold camp’ in Liberia has revealed intervals of pyroxene gneiss with sulphide minerals akin to those found at nearby productive deposits, and results from the first samples are expected in July 2024. Hummingbird, which has invested an additional US$2 million in Pasofino this year, sees potential for maximizing the value of Dugbe, which boasts 2.76 million ounces in gold reserves.
