HSBC Holdings ( (GB:HSBA) ) has shared an announcement.
HSBC Holdings has issued two tranches of senior unsecured notes, comprising US$2.25bn 4.711% fixed-to-floating notes due 2030 and US$2.25bn 5.208% fixed-to-floating notes due 2034. The notes were issued under an existing indenture framework and the bank plans to list them on the New York Stock Exchange, reinforcing its access to U.S. dollar capital markets and supporting its diversified funding profile.
The dual-maturity, fixed-to-floating structure provides HSBC with flexibility in managing interest rate exposure while appealing to investors seeking both initial yield and future rate linkage. By tapping global investors through a registered offering in the U.S., HSBC underlines its strong market positioning and its ability to raise sizeable long-term funding to back its worldwide banking operations.
