HSBC Holdings plc has issued 8,306,497 new ordinary shares of US$0.50 each under the HSBC Share Plan 2011 during the period from 1 March to 27 March 2026. These new shares were issued from an existing block listing allocation and will rank pari passu with the company’s existing ordinary shares.

Following this issuance, HSBC’s total issued share capital stands at 17,183,546,359 ordinary shares, with updated residual balances remaining available under various employee and incentive share schemes. The transaction reflects the ongoing use of equity-based compensation and legacy acquisition-related commitments, without altering the relative rights of existing shareholders.
