HPQ-Silicon Resources ( (TSE:HPQ) ) has shared an announcement.
HPQ Silicon reported that 21700 cylindrical cells using Novacium’s GEN4 silicon-based anode material delivered an average capacity above 6,600 mAh, with a top result of 6,696 mAh. The cells achieved gravimetric energy density of 319.9 Wh/kg and volumetric density of 906.2 Wh/L, placing their performance near the upper end of currently reported industrial 21700 cells.
The GEN4 cells mark a 45% capacity gain over a graphite baseline and a 9% improvement over HPQ’s previous GEN3 generation in the same format, putting the company among a small global group able to exceed 6,500 mAh in 21700 cells. Management says the results validate its commercialization pathway and open potential for advanced applications in electric vehicles, drones, and consumer electronics, as HPQ targets further gains toward 7,000 mAh cells under its ENDURA+ brand.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:HPQ) stock is a Hold with a C$0.18 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on HPQ-Silicon Resources stock, see the TSE:HPQ Stock Forecast page.
