HPQ Silicon’s affiliate, Novacium, has reported that its second-generation advanced silicon-based anode material, GEN2, has demonstrated superior performance and minimal degradation after 100 cycles in battery tests. The results show a significant improvement in battery capacity compared to both traditional graphite anodes and Novacium’s first-generation material. The company highlights the potential for further advancements with the aim to achieve even higher battery capacities in future iterations.
