HPQ Silicon Inc. has announced that its subsidiary, HPQ Silicon Polvere, is making significant progress with its innovative Fumed Silica Reactor (FSR) technology, currently in pre-commissioning for a 50 tonnes per year pilot plant. The company is targeting the production of both commercial and food/pharma-grade fumed silica, and is in discussions with potential clients to secure offtake agreements for its low-carbon product.
