William A. Ackman, long-standing director and Chairman of the Board at Howard Hughes Holdings Inc., has announced he won’t seek re-election in the 2024 Annual Meeting. His departure is amicable, with no disagreements cited with the company. R. Scot Sellers is poised to become the next Chairman if re-elected. To fill the upcoming vacancy, Ben Hakim from Pershing Square Capital Management has been nominated, bringing extensive experience from his previous roles, including senior positions at Blackstone Group and as President of Pershing Square SPARC Holdings.
