Horizon Minerals Begins Mining at Boorara Gold Project

Horizon Minerals Ltd (AU:HRZ) has released an update.

Horizon Minerals Ltd has successfully commenced mining at its Boorara Gold Project, with the first ore exposed and mined in September 2024 and plans to deliver the first ore to Paddington for gold production in November. The project anticipates 49.5koz of gold from 1.24Mt of ore over 14 months of mining and 19 months of processing, expected to generate $30M in free cash flow. Despite labour shortages, operations are progressing safely and efficiently, with night shifts starting to increase production.
