Valleyview Resources Ltd. ( (TSE:HLU) ) has provided an announcement.
Homeland Uranium Corp. has completed six additional reverse circulation drillholes at its Coyote Basin Uranium Project, confirming that a near-surface anomalously radioactive horizon continues southward over an interpreted strike length of about 200 metres. The zone of anomalous radioactivity is now drill-defined over an area roughly 1,000 by 200 metres, remains open in all directions, and shows consistent dip, geometry, and lithological characteristics with earlier holes, bolstering management’s confidence in a laterally extensive, gently east-dipping mineralized horizon. The drill rig has been moved to test a third fence of holes farther south, while collected samples have been sent to SGS Laboratories for geochemical assays that will be necessary to determine uranium grades given potential disequilibrium in the uranium decay series. The Phase II program will pause over the holidays and resume in the new year, with ongoing drilling and chemical analysis expected to refine the geological model and improve characterization of the uranium mineralization, a key step in advancing the project’s development and potential value to stakeholders.
