HKEX Forfeits Unclaimed 2017 Dividend

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing (HK:0388) has released an update.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has announced the forfeiture of its unclaimed final dividend for 2017, amounting to over HK$14 million, which reverted to the company on 1 June 2024. The dividend of HK$2.85 per share, which remained unclaimed for seven years since the payable date in 2018, was forfeited in accordance with HKEX’s Articles of Association. The Securities and Futures Commission, while overseeing HKEX’s listing, does not endorse the contents of this announcement or assume responsibility for its accuracy.
