Hikari Tsushin, Inc. has set the terms for its 56th and 57th unsecured straight corporate bonds, each totaling 10 billion yen, with denominations of 1 million yen and coupons of 2.823% and 3.510% per annum, respectively. The five-year bond will mature on May 1, 2031, and the seven-year bond on April 28, 2033, with proceeds earmarked for bond redemption and backed by solid domestic credit ratings of A+ from Japan Credit Rating Agency and A from Rating & Investment Information, reflecting stable funding conditions and sustained investor confidence.

Nomura Securities, Daiwa Securities, Mizuho Securities, and SMBC Nikko Securities will underwrite the issues, while Mizuho Bank acts as trustee and Japan Securities Depository Center handles book-entry transfer, reinforcing the use of Japan’s established capital market infrastructure. By locking in medium- to long-term funding under pari passu conditions and maintaining full principal redemption at par, the company strengthens its liability management and demonstrates continued access to the domestic bond market, which may support financial stability and reassure stakeholders about its funding base.
