HighCom has launched a $7 million equity placement, issuing 35 million new shares across two tranches under its ASX placement capacity, alongside a $1 million share purchase plan for eligible retail investors in Australia and New Zealand. Directors intend to participate in the second tranche, with Henslow Pty Ltd and Morgans acting as joint lead managers, underscoring institutional support for the raise.

The company plans to deploy the fresh capital into working capital to support operating costs, inventory and customer payment cycles while sustaining growth and timely contract delivery. Additional funds will upgrade its XTclave armour manufacturing technology, expand warehouse and production capacity, and finance product development, international sales expansion and head-office capabilities to drive margin expansion and revenue growth from its defence and protective systems portfolio.
