Henry Boot Finalizes Landmark York Site Sale

Henry Boot (GB:BOOT) has released an update.

Henry Boot PLC’s development division, HBD, has successfully agreed to a conditional sale of a two-acre retirement development site at The Chocolate Works, York, to McCarthy Stone. This sale marks the completion of HBD’s decade-long redevelopment of the former Terry’s Chocolate factory into a mixed-use community, culminating in a total Gross Development Value of £110 million. The project, which now includes 163 premium apartments and a neurological centre, will conclude with the construction of a 72-home retirement community by McCarthy Stone.
