The latest update is out from Helix Exploration Plc ( (GB:HEX) ).
Helix Exploration has begun gas production at its flagship Rudyard Project, becoming the first helium gas producer in Montana and marking its transition from explorer to revenue-generating operator. Initial output comes from three wells tied into a pressure swing adsorption plant, with capacity expected to ramp up as processes are refined and a fourth well, Inez, is added after testing is completed.
The start of production underpins Helix’s negotiations with potential offtake partners, as the company seeks a mix of short- and long-term sales contracts to optimise pricing and revenue. While a drilling equipment issue has temporarily delayed further testing at the Inez well, Helix says helium and hydrogen resource potential remains intact, supporting its growth ambitions and reinforcing investor confidence in the Rudyard field’s long-term value.
