Helix Exploration Plc ( (GB:HEX) ) has shared an announcement.
Helix Exploration reported that a minor technical issue with the Variable Speed Drive at its Rudyard project temporarily delayed the start of helium production, but the problem has now been resolved and the equipment is operating smoothly. The company plans to update the market on its production milestone in the coming week and will host prospective offtake partners on-site as it seeks to secure attractive sales agreements, positioning itself to become the first helium producer in Montana and to maximise value from the project for shareholders.
Management reiterated confidence in the scale and economics of Rudyard, which benefits from existing infrastructure and low-cost processing, and has the potential to generate substantial revenue over its life. The forthcoming move into production is a key step in Helix’s strategy to build scale efficiently, transition from development to cash flow, and strengthen its role in the global helium market.
