Heliogen, Inc. has granted a Limited Waiver allowing Nant Capital, LLC and Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong to increase their stake in the company from 17% to 24.5% through a private stock purchase. This waiver prevents the transaction from activating shareholder rights that typically come into play when a party acquires a significant portion of a company’s shares. The deal went through without altering the original shareholder rights agreement, ensuring that Nant remains classified as a Passive Institutional Investor despite their increased ownership.
