HCA Healthcare (HCA) has shared an announcement.

William B. Rutherford of HCA Healthcare is set to retire on May 1, 2024, with Christopher F. Wyatt stepping in as the new Chief Financial Officer and principal accounting officer while retaining his role as Senior Vice President and Controller. At the company’s virtual Annual Meeting, ten director nominees were elected, Ernst & Young LLP was ratified as the independent accounting firm, and a non-binding resolution on executive compensation was approved to be held annually. However, stockholder proposals regarding emergency abortion risk mitigation, patient feedback on care quality, and maternal health outcomes were not approved.
