Haranga Resources Limited ( (AU:HAR) ) has issued an announcement.
Haranga Resources has begun a 4,000-metre Phase 3 reverse circulation drilling campaign at its Ibel South Gold Project in Senegal, following strong aircore drilling and surface geochemical results that defined a high-grade, structurally controlled gold system. The programme, to be completed in about 25 days using dual day and night shifts, will target depth extensions at TMS Anomaly 3 and first-time testing of untested TMS Anomalies 1 and 2.
Previous drilling at Anomaly 3 delivered multiple high-grade intercepts, with several holes ending in mineralised greywacke, highlighting the need for deeper drilling down to 260–300 metres. With only around 800 metres of a five-kilometre anomalous corridor tested so far and drilling at the Lincoln project nearing completion, Haranga is advancing two high-grade gold projects in parallel, potentially strengthening its growth profile and regional gold exploration footprint.
