The latest announcement is out from Hampton Financial ( (TSE:HFC) ).

Hampton Financial Corporation reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of $2.4 million, down 23% from the prior year, and a net loss of $1.0 million, with negative EBITDA reflecting a softer topline despite what management described as solid performance in its core businesses. The company highlighted strengthening momentum in its wealth management and Oxygen Working Capital lending operations, improving activity in capital markets, and the early benefits of prior initiatives to streamline operations and diversify revenue. After quarter-end, Hampton converted $4.0 million of debentures and about $5.2 million of interest obligations into equity via the issuance of more than 10.5 million subordinate voting shares, a move management expects will significantly bolster the balance sheet, lower ongoing costs, and support financial results in fiscal 2026, while the firm continues to pursue strategic growth opportunities and further service enhancements for clients and stakeholders.
