Whitebark Energy Ltd ( (AU:H3E) ) has issued an announcement.
H3 Energy’s latest quarter was dominated by technical work and partnership moves across its two flagship projects in Western Australia and South Australia. The company advanced subsurface studies, reservoir reviews and strategic positioning aimed at unlocking gas, oil and potential hydrogen and helium resources.
In the Officer Basin, H3 Energy hired LAB Energy Advisors to run a farm-in process for the Alinya project and help fund the planned Rickerscote-1 well, while new analysis of historic drilling confirmed oil-prone source rocks suited to producing Avgas and diesel. The company also began assessing the wider PEL 81 and PEL 253 permits for hydrogen and helium potential, identifying extensions of the Alinya formation and Pindyin Reservoir that could host free-gas accumulations.
At the Warro Gas Project in Western Australia, H3 Energy continued a comprehensive re-evaluation of the gas field to refine its understanding of reservoir behaviour and commercialisation options. An independent petroleum engineering review by Molyneux Advisors concluded the available engineering data supports the potential for enhanced gas flow rates, a key step toward making Warro a viable development.
