Guoco Group Enhances Audit and Risk Oversight

Guoco Group (HK:0053) has released an update.

Guoco Group Limited has updated the terms of reference for its Board Audit and Risk Management Committee to ensure ethical standards and legal compliance across the Group, with a revised version effective from 26 September 2024. The Committee, consisting of non-executive directors, is empowered to seek information from directors or management, obtain independent advice, and is responsible for recommending the appointment or removal of external auditors, as well as approving their remuneration and terms of engagement.
