Grindrod Shipping Holdings Ltd., the Singapore-based maritime transportation service provider, has successfully implemented its selective capital reduction as of August 16, 2024. This strategic financial move resulted in the cancellation of all ordinary shares except for those held by Good Falkirk (MI) Limited, with a cash distribution of $14.25 per participating share to be paid by late August. The company, listed on both NASDAQ and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, focuses on the drybulk sector under the brand ‘Island View Shipping’.
