GreenX Metals Limited triumphed in an international arbitration against Poland, securing a hefty compensation of approximately A$490 million, including interest. The Tribunal found Poland in breach of its obligations under investment treaties concerning the Jan Karski project, although GreenX’s claims for the Dębieńsko project were not upheld. The awards are binding, with Poland having limited options to contest the Tribunal’s decision.
