Greenridge Exploration Inc ( (TSE:GXP) ) has shared an announcement.
Greenridge Exploration and joint-venture partner Denison Mines have launched the 2026 winter drilling campaign at the Hook-Carter Uranium Project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. The program, based out of a temporary on-site camp and expected to run through March 2026, will test underexplored structural corridors interpreted to host extensions of prolific uranium-bearing trends.
The partners plan up to eight diamond drill holes totaling about 4,600 metres, targeting zones defined by 2025 ground geophysics and historical work that indicate a potential mineralizing system. By focusing initial drilling on the underexplored Derkson Trend and leveraging its position along extensions of the Patterson Lake Corridor, the campaign aims to unlock new uranium discoveries that could strengthen Greenridge’s foothold in a highly prospective uranium camp and enhance the project’s strategic value for stakeholders.
