Greencoat Renewables Plc ( (DE:GRP) ) has issued an announcement.
Greencoat Renewables plc has repurchased 447,750 ordinary shares on Euronext Dublin as part of its ongoing share buyback programme, paying a volume-weighted average price of €0.7397 per share. The company intends to cancel the repurchased shares, which will reduce the overall share count and can enhance earnings per share for existing investors.
Following this transaction, Greencoat Renewables holds 200,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,098,993,557 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares. The continued execution of the buyback programme signals management’s confidence in the company’s valuation and capital position, while modestly tightening the free float in the market.
