Greencoat Renewables Plc ( (DE:GRP) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Greencoat Renewables plc has repurchased 402,956 of its ordinary shares on Euronext Dublin on 17 March 2026, at prices between €0.7820 and €0.7900, with a volume-weighted average price of €0.7863. The shares acquired from broker J&E Davy will be cancelled as part of the company’s ongoing share buyback programme launched earlier in March.
Following this latest transaction, Greencoat Renewables now holds 200,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,110,219,101 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury. The buyback and cancellation marginally reduce the company’s share count, which can enhance earnings per share and signal management’s confidence in the company’s valuation to existing shareholders and the wider market.
