Greencoat Renewables Plc ( (DE:GRP) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Greencoat Renewables plc has repurchased 552,960 of its ordinary shares on Euronext Dublin on 25 March 2026, paying a volume-weighted average price of €0.7746 per share, with prices ranging between €0.7740 and €0.7750. The shares, bought through broker J&E Davy as part of the buyback programme launched earlier in March, will be cancelled, reducing the company’s share count.
Following this transaction, Greencoat Renewables now holds 200,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,107,588,553 ordinary shares in issue excluding treasury shares. The ongoing buyback supports capital management and may enhance earnings per share and shareholder value by lowering the number of shares outstanding in the market.
