Greencoat Renewables Plc ( (DE:GRP) ) just unveiled an update.
Greencoat Renewables PLC has continued its share buyback programme by repurchasing 668,005 ordinary shares on Euronext Dublin on 31 March 2026 at prices between €0.7060 and €0.7120, with a volume-weighted average price of €0.7092. The company intends to cancel these shares, a move that marginally reduces its share capital and may enhance earnings per share and capital efficiency for existing shareholders.
Following this transaction, Greencoat Renewables now has 1,105,143,226 ordinary shares in issue excluding 200,000 shares held in treasury, reflecting incremental progress in executing the buyback announced earlier in March. The purchases, executed via broker J&E Davy, underline management’s ongoing capital management strategy and signal confidence in the company’s valuation within the renewable infrastructure sector.
