Greencoat Renewables Plc ( (DE:GRP) ) just unveiled an update.
Greencoat Renewables plc has continued its previously announced share buyback programme, repurchasing 335,635 ordinary shares on Euronext Dublin on 19 May 2026 at a volume-weighted average price of €0.7773. The repurchased shares will be cancelled, reducing the number of shares in circulation and signalling ongoing capital management efforts.
Following this transaction, Greencoat Renewables now holds 200,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,091,993,178 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares. The incremental buyback may support the company’s share price and enhance per-share metrics, affecting existing shareholders by slightly increasing their proportional ownership.
