Green Technology Metals Limited ( (AU:GT1) ) just unveiled an announcement.

Green Technology Metals has launched an A$11 million recapitalisation to fund completion of the Definitive Feasibility Study, permitting, approvals and financing needed to reach a Final Investment Decision on its Seymour Lithium Project in Ontario. The package combines a A$7 million two-tranche institutional placement with a fully underwritten A$4 million non-renounceable entitlement offer at A$0.02 per share, introducing new investors while offering existing shareholders the same pricing.

Directors John Young and Patrick Murphy will participate in the placement and all eligible directors intend to take up their entitlements, while Canaccord Genuity, Yelverton Capital and Foster Stockbroking act as joint lead managers and underwriters. The company is also reshaping its board and management team to add Canadian project financing expertise and says ongoing optimisation work is expected to cut capex and improve economics, positioning Seymour as a low-capex lithium development targeting first ore in the first half of 2028.

The most recent analyst rating on (AU:GT1) stock is a Buy with a A$0.16 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Green Technology Metals Limited stock, see the AU:GT1 Stock Forecast page.
