Great Western Exploration Limited announced the discovery of a significant niobium soil anomaly at their Sumo Niobium Target within the Yerrida North Project in Western Australia. The 2km by 1km anomaly is bolstered by pathfinder geochemistry, suggesting a high potential for a niobium-mineralised system. Located near existing copper-gold projects, this finding could indicate an exciting new mineralisation system, with assays pending to inform future exploration efforts.
