Great Western Exploration Limited is commencing a major drilling program targeting high-potential copper deposits at their Fairbairn Project in Western Australia, with geological models indicating the possibility of significant DeGrussa-style volcanic-hosted massive sulphide deposits. The company is also refining models on their Oval and Oval South projects, which show promise for Winu-style copper-gold discoveries, while results from the Firebird Gold Project indicate a mineralised system, albeit with lower grade and deeper gold than expected.
