The latest announcement is out from Great Southern Copper PLC ( (GB:GSCU) ).

Great Southern Copper has reported Phase III scout reverse-circulation drilling results from the Cerro Negro prospect that confirm high-grade silver and base-metal mineralisation along 1.5km of strike south of the historic Mostaza mine. All reported holes intersected significant silver with associated copper, lead and zinc, including a new near-surface Cu-Ag zone and multiple stacked Ag-Pb-Zn lenses that correlate closely with induced polarisation chargeability anomalies.

The latest assays strengthen the company’s geological model of a large, structurally controlled, multi-lens hydrothermal system and validate geophysical targeting as an effective tool for delineating additional drill targets. With several high-priority, largely untested zones still defined along the Mostaza Fault Zone and at the nearby Monolith area, the results are feeding directly into planning for an expanded Phase IV resource and exploration drill programme that could scale up the Cerro Negro project’s potential significance within the district.

The most recent analyst rating on (GB:GSCU) stock is a Sell with a £2.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Great Southern Copper PLC stock, see the GB:GSCU Stock Forecast page.
