Great Divide Mining Ltd has reported encouraging preliminary gold assays from their New Goldfield tenement within the Cape Project, with rock chip samples revealing gold concentrations up to 3.2 grams per tonne. Half of the samples collected showed anomalous gold levels greater than 0.5 g/t, indicating the potential for significant hard-rock gold mineralization in the region known for historic alluvial gold finds. The company plans further exploration to establish the true scale of the mineralization.
