On December 23, 2025, the sponsor of Grayscale Ethereum Trust ETF, Grayscale Investments Sponsors, LLC, announced that it intends to change the name of the fund to Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF, effective on or about January 5, 2026. The Trust’s governing agreement will be amended to reflect the new name, but the shares will continue to trade on NYSE Arca under the existing ETHE ticker, and outstanding stock certificates will remain valid and will not need to be exchanged, signaling that the move is primarily a rebranding rather than an operational change for current investors.
