GrainCorp Spearheads Australian Renewable Fuels Venture

Graincorp Limited Class A (AU:GNC) has released an update.

GrainCorp, alongside Ampol and IFM Investors, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore the development of a renewable fuels industry in Australia, focusing on a feasibility study for a production facility at Ampol’s Lytton Refinery. The facility aims to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel and renewable diesel using local feedstocks such as canola oil and used cooking oil, provided by GrainCorp. This move aligns with the growing momentum for domestic sustainable fuel production and the Federal Government’s supportive measures.
