Goldstone Resources ( (GB:GRL) ) has issued an announcement.

GoldStone Resources has granted new share options over ordinary shares to its directors and a senior manager, marking its first options issue since August 2024. The move is designed to incentivise leadership and better align management interests with those of shareholders as the company advances its Ghanaian gold operations.

The company cancelled 28 million unissued options from a prior 56 million-option award and replaced them with 113 million new options that vest immediately, run for five years and carry exercise prices set at premiums to the latest market price. The allocation spans board members and a senior manager, signalling a renewed focus on performance-based rewards that could strengthen management commitment amid ongoing development of the Akrokeri-Homase project.

The most recent analyst rating on (GB:GRL) stock is a Hold with a £1.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Goldstone Resources stock, see the GB:GRL Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on GB:GRL Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, GB:GRL is a Neutral.

The score is held back primarily by weak financial performance (losses, margin compression, negative free cash flow, and rising leverage). Technical indicators are a meaningful offset, showing strong price strength above key moving averages with positive momentum. Valuation remains unfavorable due to the loss-making profile implied by the negative P/E and lack of dividend data.
